A little more about me….

Hi, I’m Janine. I’m based in beautiful Old Lyme Connecticut but my roots are in Rocky Hill and Cromwell and I spent ten years living in Westchester County NY. I photograph everything from newborns, families, maternity, seniors, weddings and surprise reveals and my mission is simple. I want every mama in front of the camera. Seriously, you belong in these photos. I want you laughing, glowing, and feeling amazing while we capture this moment in your life.

My sessions are playful, full of laughter, and all about real connection. I love the little things, the giggles, hugs, messy hair, sandy toes, and the moments that make you stop and smile. There is usually some running, a little dancing, maybe a tiny bit of chaos, and that is where the magic happens. I also have a no shoes policy on the beach so you can kick back, feel the sand under your feet, and enjoy every moment.

When I am not behind the camera I am living the sports mom era with my two kids who are 11 and 12 and keep me on my toes and laughing every single day. In the summer you will probably catch me on the beaches of Old Lyme on an adventure or Westerly Rhode Island surfing and soaking up all that ocean energy. I bring that same energy, joy, and a little unpredictability to every session so you leave with photos that feel as real and happy as your life feels in that moment. If you have done a session with me I can guarantee there are tickles and running of some sort involved and 90% of my sessions are encouraged to be at golden hour where the light is the dreamiest.
